The HomeMe app was built as a free app. This SERVICE is provided by HomeMe at no cost and is intended for use as is. If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation with this policy. The Personal Information that we collect are used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to name, email address and location. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy. The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Registering on our website

When you register on thehomemeapp.com, or sign up for the HomeMe Market Report, we collect:

• Your email address;
• The area you're interested in (for example, Isle of Man or a London borough);
• Whether you're buying, renting, investing, an estate agent or just curious; and
• Whether you'd like to receive the monthly Market Report.

We use this to email you when HomeMe launches in your area, to tell you about new HomeMe features, to understand where demand for HomeMe is so we can decide where to launch next, and, only if you ask for it, to send you the Market Report. If you tell us you're an estate agent, we may contact you about listing your properties on HomeMe.

We process this information because you've asked us to keep you informed. You can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing us. We keep your registration until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, and we review and remove inactive registrations at least once a year.

Registrations are stored on our behalf by our website host, Netlify, Inc. Netlify is based in the United States, so your details may be processed outside the UK and the Isle of Man. When we start sending emails, we will use an email service provider, which will also process your email address on our behalf. We don't sell your details or share them with estate agents or anyone else for their own marketing.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@homeme.app. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, or to the Information Commissioner in the Isle of Man.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Our website only sets optional cookies if you choose "Accept cookies" in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

If you accept, we use:

• Google Analytics, to understand how people use our website, for example which pages they visit and whether they register, so we can improve it.
• Google Ads, to measure whether our adverts lead to people registering, and to show HomeMe adverts to people who have visited our site.

These services are provided by Google, which may process the information outside the UK and the Isle of Man. If you reject cookies, we don't set them, and the site works exactly the same. We also store your cookie choice on your device so we don't ask you again.

Location Information

Some of the services may use location information transmitted from users' mobile phones. We only use this information within the scope necessary for the designated service.

We collect information from your device in some cases. The information will be utilized for the provision of better service and to prevent fraudulent acts. Additionally, such information will not include that which will identify the individual user.

In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
